The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of a Syrian drug dealer in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

Police stopped 33-year-old Syrian R.Aa on a motorcycle in Burj al-Barajneh, the statement read.

R.Aa had a large amount of drugs with him, more specifically 44 plastic bags containing hashish and salvia, packaged and ready to be sold.

The suspect was referred to the Central Drug Enforcement Office for further investigation at the behest of the judiciary.
