The Internal Security Forces announced Monday the arrest of a suspected murderer in a Mount Lebanon town.

Lebanese national W.Aa., born in 1994, and Syrian national H.Aa., born in 1988, were on a motorcycle in the Chouf town of Damour when police attempted to stop them.

W.Aa., who is accused of murder and attempted murder, tried to evade, according to a police statement.

The suspect eventually crashed his motorcycle into an army vehicle, allowing the police to arrest him.

H.Aa. was also arrested, although the statement doesn't specify over what charges.
