The Internal Security Forces announced the arrest of a “dangerous suspect” in Beirut’s southern suburbs.
Police arrested 45-year-old Palestinian G.H. in Mreijeh, in the district of Baabda and found heroin in his possession, ISF said in a statement.
The police have previously issued 23 arrest warrants for the suspect, on counts of theft, drug use and trafficking, smuggling arms and ammunition and selling smuggled medicine.
The suspect was referred to the judiciary to stand trial.
