Police arrested four people suspected of burglarizing a diplomat’s residence in Beirut, an Internal Security Forces statement said Tuesday.

An unknown suspect stole three suitcases from a storage room at a diplomat’s house in the Raouche area of Beirut, the statement said.

Police arrested four Syrian nationals, identified as A. Aa., 22, Aa. Kh. 39, F. M., 28, and Aa. A., 30, after an investigation into the incident.

Some of the stolen luggage was also retrieved, the statement said without further clarifying.

The suspects allegedly admitted to committing the burglary.
