A unit from the Judicial police apprehended two suspects in Baalbeck’s Brital in east Lebanon for the armed theft of a number of cars, an Internal Security Forces’ statement said. The suspects, 17-year-old M.I. and 30-year-old J.I., are of Lebanese nationality, according to the ISF. The statement added that the two would routinely call car rental offices and ask for a car with a driver to meet them at a given address before ambushing the driver and making off with the car.
