A dispute between two families developed into an exchange of gunfire that left five wounded.

The five Palestinian nationals from Burj al-Shemali refugee camp near Tyre were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment following the incident.

Palestinian factions inside the camp were calming the two families to avoid further escalation.

The Fatah Movement in the camp issued a statement circulated online clarifying the circumstances of the shooting. The statement ruled out any partisan disputes, saying the camp is stable and secure.
