A dispute between a customer and a nargileh shop owner in the northeastern border town of Arsal was behind a midnight attack on the shop, a security source said Tuesday.

The source told The Daily Star the customer, who was not identified, lobbed a hand grenade at the shop after the owner closed the store.

No one was hurt in the blast.

The source said a brief argument had erupted earlier Monday night between the customer and the shop owner, a member of the Hujeiri family, over a delay in nargileh delivery.
