A patrol belonging to the Intelligence Directorate has been subject to massive shooting by unknown assailants during a raid on the town of Hamoudieh in the Bekaa Valley. The raid was carried out by the Directorate against the the residences of a number of wanted individuals; consequently, Intelligence members were forced to respond to the shooters, but no injuries were reported.
Two persons were arrested and 6 cars were confiscated 6 cars, in addition to an amount of narcotics.
The arrested persons have been referred to the competent authorities and the rest of the suspects have been arrested for referral to the competent court.
