Palestinian refugees living in the southern Lebanese camp of Ain al-Hilweh held a demonstration early Thursday against water cuts and the deterioration of the quality of services provided by the UNRWA.
The state-run National News Agency said the residents from the Barkasat neighborhood closed off the main entrance to Al-Fowkani Street and shut down schools, clinics and a landfill inside the camp.
They called on UNRWA to fulfill its responsibilities by improving their dire living conditions.
