فادت معلومات صحافية عن توقيف الأمن العام اللبناني الفلسطيني محمد الوني الملقب بـ"ابو عماد" أثناء توجهه الى السعودية لاداء مناسك العمرة.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أن الوني، وهو قائد الامن الوطني الفلسطيني في شمال لبنان، كان قد صدر بحقه مذكرة توقيف صادرة عن مخابرات الجيش اللبناني بعد ورود اسمه بتحقيق جار بقضايا مخدرات مع احد الموقوفين الفلسطينيين، والذي كان مطلوباً بمئات مذكرات التوقيف سابقاً، والذي ذكر اسم قائد الامن الوطني الفلسطيني اثناء اعترافاته.
