A Palestinian national was found dead with a gunshot wound to his head in the southern area of Tyre, the state-run National News Agency said on Sunday.
Alaa Walid al-Qasem, 18, from the area of al-Qasmieh was reportedly found dead in one of the banana groves on the coastline between al-Qasmieh and Tyre.
He had a gunshot wound to his head and a pump action rifle in his hand.
The circumstances of the fatal gunshot are under investigation. No cause has been released.
