علنت المديرية العامة للأمن العام في بيان أنه "في إطار متابعتها للخلايا الإرهابيّة النائمة في لبنان وملاحقة عناصرها، وبناء لإشارة النيابة العامة المختصة، أوقفت المديرية الفلسطيني اللاجئ في لبنان (م.ح.أ) مواليد عام 1991 لانتمائه إلى تنظيم داعش الإرهابي وتواصله مع إرهابيين في الداخل السوري".
