كشفت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي - شعبة العلاقات العامة، أنّ نتيجة عمليات الرصد والمتابعة الحثيثة، تمكّنت مفرزة إستقصاء الشمال في وحدة الدرك الإقليمي من استدراج أحد المطلوبين للقضاء إلى محلة جبل البداوي وتوقيفه، ويُدعى "ع. م." وهو فلسطيني من مواليد عام 1990".
وأوضحت في بلاغ، أنّه "يوجد بحقّه مذكرة توقيف بجرم الإنتماء إلى تنظيم إرهابي مسلح والمشاركة بأعمال عسكرية لصالحه"القضاء المختص
