Qobayat State Security unit in Akkar province arrested the Syrian national Hussein Mustapha Arab, in the border locality of Wadi Khaled, on suspicions of belonging to Jund al-Sham group and installing and equipping explosive devices and explosives, NNA correspondent reported on Tuesday.
The arrest of Hussein Arab, who is defected from the Syrian army, came in the wake of thorough monitoring and follow-up process.
A number of forged Syrian and Lebanese identity cards were found in Arab's possession.
The arrested person was handed over along with his seizures to the concerned judiciary for further investigation.
