A person was killed in an individual clash between people of Hmaidan and Al-Assaad families in Rajam Khalaf village in Wadi Khaled, National News Agency correspondent reported on Wednesday.
The field reporter added that a fight between persons from the said families was followed by opening fire which led to the injury of M.A Hmaidan who was transferred by Lebanese Red-Cross members to "Notre Dame de la Paix" hospital in Kobeiyat village where he passed away a while after.
Security forces interfered to end the fight, restore calm to the region and pursue the perpetrators.
