A dispute over the ownership of property in the north Lebanon town of Akkar took a bloody turn Sunday with one shot in the leg.
A man identified by his initials as Aa.Q. allegedly shot the former mayor of Ballanet al-Hisah in Akkar, Voice of Lebanon radio 93.3 said.
The former mayor was not named.
