An unknown assailant shot dead a man in his forties in the town of Riaq, NNA field reporter said.
The man was identified as Ali Ismail Ali Zaoyter. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
Instantly, security forces arrived at scene and launched a probe into incident. The shooter fled to an unknown destination.
It is to note that Zaoyter was released a month ago from prison, after being jailed for 11 years for murder.
