A gunman, Ammar Ali Zeaiter, was killed and another wounded, Hassan Hussein Cheaib, as both were trying to rob Credit Bank on Martyr Hadi Nasrallah autoroute in the Southern Suburbs of Beirut, NNA field reporter said.
The two penetrated savagely into said bank causing screams of fear and horror within the employees and people inside the bank especially when the robbers opened fire. It happened by coincidence the presence of an Internal Security Forces (ISF) soldier in front of the bank who as soon as he felt the tumult and fire shots rushed into the bank to exchange fire with the gunmen, killing one and wounding the other who was taken thereafter to Burj Al Barajenah military department for investigations.
