The Lebanese Army Command - Orientation Directorate issued on Wednesday the following statement:

"Mahdi Dandash, wanted after several arrest warrants, shot against an army patrol that was raiding his house in Baalbeck. The army responded to the fire and arrested the suspect.

Investigations with the criminal began under the supervision of competent authorities."
