The Lebanese Army arrested a Nusra Front member in the northeastern town of Arsal, a senior military official told The Daily Star.
Speaking on condition of anonymity, the Army source said interrogation would reveal whether Syrian Ibrahim Mutaweh was a key Nusra member or not.
The National News Agency said that the military made the arrest in the afternoon, noting that Mutaweh, a prominent Nusra figure, was wanted for involvement in terrorist acts and participating in battles against the Army.
The Army is battling Nusra and ISIS militants holed up on the northeastern border.
