أفادت المديرية العامة للدفاع المدني اللبناني، بأنّ "عناصر من الدفاع المدني نقلوا جثة رضيعة من مستيتا - جبيل، إلى "مستشفى سيدة المعونات الجامعي""، موضحةً أنّ "نقل الجثة تمّ بعد حضور الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة وإتمامها الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة". وأشارت معلومات صحافية إلى أنّ "الجثة عُثر عليها في قناة للمياه على الطريق البحرية في مستيتا، قرب مجمع "سانتا بريري" السياحي"
