State Security arrested a suspected criminal network comprised of two Lebanese nationals and five Syrian nationals.
The arrests come at a time when the incidence of motorcycle theft has increased in the Bekaa’s al-Marj and Ghazzeh.
The arrests happened after monitoring and surveillance of the network, which steals motorcycles and changes their colors before selling them. Investigations have also shown that the Syrian detainees were using drugs and had entered into Lebanon illegally.
