The Internal Security Forces’ Judicial Police Tuesday arrested two minors suspected of murdering a man and then setting fire to his home, a statement from the agency reported.

A Syrian man identified as A.F., born in 1958, was found dead Monday in a room he was renting in Ouzai in southern Beirut, with wounds on his head and neck. The ISF said the suspects had set fire to the room in an attempt to cover up the murder.

On Tuesday, the ISF arrested a boy identified as Syrian national B.E., born in 2001 and another identified as Syrian national E.Sh., born in 2003, in Aley's Choueifat.

The ISF also took into custody the victim's motorcycle, cellphone and identity card for investigation, though it was unclear from the statement whether the items were found with the suspects or at A.F.'s home.
