After the shooting that killed one man and injured two in Tripoli Al-Hara al-Barraniyeh neighborhood, a Lebanese Army unit had cordoned off area after several residents within the neighborhood were seen in public carrying their arms.
 
Army armored vehicles had also deployed on both sides of the Abu Ali River in the city, fearing that the conflict would escalate.
 
The Army also deployed in Dabbaghah, Jisrein and Souk al-Qameh neighborhoods.
