 State Security  arrested a man suspected of promoting fake currency, in the Zahle town of Saadnayel.
 
During investigations, the suspect, identified as A.Z., reportedly admitted to buying a quantity of counterfeit U.S. dollars from suspect M.Z. in the Baalbeck town of Knisa, before handing them over to Lebanese suspect J.A., who was also arrested.
 
Fake banknotes were discovered in J.A.’s home.
