Internal Security Forces (ISF)
The Internal Security Forces arrested a man in north Lebanon who is suspected of murdering his son.
The ISF said in a statement that 61-year-old H.Aa shot his son dead over a financial and real estate dispute on August 2, 2015. The incident took place in Hrar, north Lebanon.
H.Aa then reportedly disappeared, and is said to have threatened to kill his wife and daughter if they pressed charges against him.
On Thursday, the ISF located the suspect in a grocery store in the north Lebanon town of Amchit, and arrested him on charges of murder.
Upon questioning him, the ISF found out that he was previously imprisoned for 15 years for committing another murder.
He was referred to the judiciary for further investigation.
