A man who was detained Thursday for criticizing Free Patriotic Movement leader Gebran Bassil on social media was released Friday on bail, but will be summoned for further questioning, his lawyer said.
Rasheed Joumblatt, who was detained Thursday by State Security, stood before Judge Zeinab Faqih at the Baabda Judicial Palace before a decision to release him was made.
