A man suffering from a psychological disorder stabbed his mother to death on Sunday as vengeance for what he claimed to be her physical abuse to him during his childhood.

Ibrahim Rassi, born 1964, killed his mother at their residence in Hazmieh and remained next to her bloodied corpse until the arrival of security forces.
Rassi contended that his mother used to beat him up as a child, and that he finally avenged himself.
