A man was kidnapped, beaten up, then thrown on the road in north Lebanon, the National News Agency reported.

Saadallah M. was abducted at dawn at the exit of the northern town of Hawshab, Akkar. The culprits took over his pickup truck, stole his phone and money, and beat him up. They threw him on the Arka main road and sped off in his truck.

Saadallah was taken to the El Youssef Medical Center in Halba for treatment.

Investigations are underway to find and punish the perpetrators.
