On 20 July 15, a man committed suicide after failing to murder his wife. It said that he fired five shots at his wife before turning the gun on himself. His wife was unscathed in the attack, which took place in the New Rawda area. The couple was married for 14 years and has two children. however media reported that he suffered from a stroke four years ago, which affected the family's financial situation, which may have been the main motive for the murder attempt.
