أفادت المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي بأنه أقدم مجهول على الدخول إلى منزل إمرأة مسنة تدعى: خ. ج. من مواليد عام 1939، لبنانية الجنسية في بلدة رومين ، قضاء النبطية، وضربها بواسطة آلة حديدية على رأسها محاولاً قتلها ما أدى إلى غيابها عن الوعي، ثم سرق من يدها خمسة أساور من الذهب وفر إلى جهة مجهولة ونقلت الضحية بحالة طارئة وحرجة إلى المستشفى للمعالجة ونتيجة المتابعة الحثيثة والمتواصلة التي قامت بها شعبة المعلومات في قوى الامن الداخلي، تمكنت من معرفة هوية السارق المعتدي وهو: ع. ع. من مواليد عام 1955، فلسطيني الجنسية ورصده الساعة 17.00 من تاريخ 10/11/2018 في بلدة عرب الجل حيث تم توقيفه وضبط بحوزته 4 أساور ذهبية
