he Internal Security Forces arrested a man in Jbeil for scamming and fraud, according to the state-run National News Agency.
The suspect, identified as A.B.Aa., born 1972 in Chouf, stole $600 Sunday from an elderly man who is a member of the Abi Akl family. The suspect is accused of claiming to be a handmade-products salesman and entering Abi Akl’s Bejjeh home to steal the money, though he returned to the elderly man’s home the following morning and returned LL 400,000 ($267), the NNA reported.
A.B.Aa. is currently being held for questioning at the Lahfad Police Station, after being tracked down by municipality police and arrested by the ISF’s Information Branch.
