أفاد مراسل "النشرة" في الشمال، بأنّ "دورية من مخابرات الجيش اللبناني، دهمت في بلدة راشكيدا - البترون، منزل المواطن "ج. س." بعد ورود معلومات عن قيامه بزراعة كميّة من حشيشة الماريغوانا في بستان بجانب منزله".
وبيّن أنّ "الدورية تمكّنت من توقيفه، بعد التأكّد من قيامه بزرع الماريغوانا بهدف استعمالها، حيث قامت بإتلافها بعد اقتلاعها. وتمّ تحويل الموقوف إلى التحقيق بإشراف القضاء المختص"
