Police Friday detained a 32-year-old man who had attempted to kidnap his daughter, 5, from his ex-wife by opening fire at the latter in a Beirut suburbs neighborhood.
The abduction attempt occurred last week in Hay al-Sellom neighborhood in Beirut’s southern suburbs, an Internal Security Forces said.
The man allegedly shot at his wife’s vehicle while she was with her father and daughter.
He fled the scene after he failed to achieve his objectives.
He was arrested Friday by Mreijeh police officers.
