“Following information and surveillance, local police forces were informed of two wanted men suspected of stealing motorcycles, while using weapons,” the ISF said in statement. The men were suspected of committing crimes across Mount Lebanon districts, including Beirut’s southern suburbs, Khaldeh, Choueifat, Aramoun and Baabda.

Security forces arrested a Lebanese man born in 1996. His accomplice fled at the time of arrest. During questioning, the man admitted to committing over 100 armed robberies with the help of two Syrians, and to stealing motorcycles, also with the help of two others
