Lebanese security forces detained a Palestinian in the southern city of Sidon after he shot his son in the hand, the National News Agency reported.
NNA said that a Palestinian from the Al-Tiri neighborhood in Ain al-Hilweh, identified by his initials S.T., accidentally shot his 12-year-old son in the hand while playing and mishandling a pistol.
Security forces have opened an investigation into the incident.
