The Internal Security Forces reported that it arrested a Lebanese man with 100,000 euros (about $116,400) in counterfeit money at Beirut’s Rafik Hariri International Airport.
The suspect, identified in an ISF statement as F.Kh., born in 1972, was arrested Thursday evening.
The fake money was wrapped in carbon paper and stashed in a suitcase with a double bottom, the statement said.
