A lovesick young man has shot and wounded his girlfriend in the Mount Lebanon area of Aley before turning the weapon on himself, media reports said on Sunday.
MTV said the girl was “shot in the back” and that her condition was “stable to good.” She was rushed to the military hospital in Beirut.
“The boyfriend was transferred in a very critical condition to the Kamal Jumblat Hospital in Choueifat,” MTV added.
The shooting erupted after a dispute between the two young “lovers,” the TV network said.
