Health inspectors sealed with red wax a warehouse of a pizza restaurant, state media reported.
The National News Agency said that the health inspectors confiscated in the warehouse spoiled and expired food.
Local channel MTV said that warehouse, in Jounieh, north of Beirut, belongs to the renowned chain Pizza Hut.
The ministry has been pursuing food safety violators since 2015.
Hundreds of shops have been warned, closed or forced to adopt stricter measures as part of the campaign.
