A Lebanese suspected of preparing explosive-rigged cars that have been used in several bombing across Lebanon was arrested, a statement issued by the Lebanese Army confirmed. Mohammad Badereddine al-Kranbi, who is from the northeastern border town of Arsal, had admitted to belonging to Daesh (ISIS), taking part in clashes against the Lebanese Army in Arsal leading to the deaths of soldiers and civilians alike, transporting suicide-bombers and preparing explosive-rigged vehicles, and dealing with drug and weapons. MTV channel said that the 28-year-old suspect was arrested two days ago as he was heading from the capital Beirut to Arsal. The army said that Kranbi said that the booby-trapped cars were used in suicide operations and bombings that were carried out in Lebanon.
