On 17 Mar 2017, Lebanese converged on the streets of Beirut for the second day in a row to protest the Parliament's anticipated tax hike. Dozens of protesters began rallying in Beirut's Riad al-Solh square at 1700 hrs, waving Lebanese flags.
Protests also took place around the country in Nabatiyeh, Baalbeck and Zgharta.
