Police arrested a Syrian on charges of impersonating a security official, the Internal Security Forces announced.
The 24-year-old suspect, identified as R.Kh., was arrested at a police checkpoint on airport road, south of Beirut.
R.Kh. was transferred to the judiciary for questioning and to stand trial.
A motorbike that he was riding was impounded.
