Conflict Incident Report

The town of Majdalyoun, east of Sidon, witnessed at midnight the horrific murder of Lebanese national, Maroun Hanna Nuhra (47 years old), who hails from the town of Ein al-Delb. In further details, Nuhra was in his car on Majdalyoun main road. According to surveillance cameras installed around the scene, a person in a silver-colored Mercedes carrying the plate number 116518/S stepped out of the vehicle and shot towards Nuhra from a military weapon and then fled to an unknown destination.

Nuhra was later transferred to Labib medical center in Sidon, where he was found to have been shot in the chest, head, and shoulder. Security forces inspected the crime scene and are currently investigating the incident. Ownership records of the Mercedes revealed that it is possessed by Palestinian national, Khalil Hassan Hamad. Meanwhile, the search is ongoing for the car and the shooter.
