The international forces "are working with the parties to secure the release of the person who crossed the Blue Line and has opened an investigation into the incident," UNIFIL Spokesperson Andrea Tenanti told NNA correspondent in Tyre on Sunday.
The Lebanese citizen (born 1993), who hails from the village of Habboush, had crossed the barbed-wire fence between Lebanon and occupied Palestine at Fatima Gate earlier today.
