Lebanese customs agents busted a warehouse in Jounieh, north of Beirut, used to manufacture knock-off alcoholic beverages. Agents seized around 1,200 bootlegged bottles, a statement issued by the customs agency said. Two Syrian nationals and one Lebanese were arrested and the items used in the alcohol-making process were confiscated. Similar raids were conducted in Tabarja, Baabda and Zouk Mikael, leading to several arrests and to the confiscation of imitation alcohol, as well as arms and ammunition.
