وطنية - أعلنت المديرية العامة للأمن العام، في بيان، أنه "في إطار متابعة ورصد نشاطات المجموعات الإرهابية ولا سيما تلك التي نفذت عمليات انتحارية وتفجيرات والخلايا النائمة التابعة لها، أوقفت المديرية العامة للأمن العام بناء لإشارة النيابة العامة المختصة اللبناني (د.ص) لتورطه بعملية التفجير الانتحاري المزدوج في منطقة برج البراجنة.
وبنتيجة التحقيق معه إعترف بنشاطه في مجال بيع وشراء المواد المتفجرة ومتمماتها وأنه قام بتسليم كمية من المواد المتفجرة والصواعق التي استخدمت في التفجير الانتحاري المزدوج في منطقة برج البراجنة الى الارهابي (أ.ر) الذي أوقف سابقا من قبل المديرية العامة للأمن العام بجرم التخطيط للعملية الانتحارية ونقله لأحد الانتحاريين.
بعد انتهاء التحقيق معه أحيل الى القضاء المختص".
