Lebanese Army raids Hermel in search of suspects

The Lebanese Army Friday raided the homes of wanted suspects in the northeast Lebanon town of Hermel, state media reported.

The National News Agency said that the raids also targeted Syrian refugee make-shift camps.

A suspect, identified as S.H., was detained. He is allegedly wanted on several charges.

The army intelligence patrol also arrested 31 Syrians for not carrying their legal identification documents.

Five motorcycles were impounded.

The detainees and the confiscated items were transported to a nearby army barracks.
