Lebanese army opens fire at vehicle

One person was wounded after Lebanese soldiers opened fire at a vehicle that allegedly failed to heed orders to stop at a military checkpoint in east Lebanon.

The state-run National News Agency reported that soldiers manning a checkpoint at the entrance of Hay al-Sharawneh neighborhood in Baalbek ordered a man in a car to stop, and when he didn't, this prompted them to open fire.

One person was injured, NNA said, however it's still unclear clear whether it was the driver of the car.
