A Lebanese Army unit has found and freed a kidnapped woman in Baalbeck, the state-run National News Agency reported.

The Army unit found the Lebanese national, identified as N.H., in the town of Tel Abyad, after her captors released her for fear of getting caught.

It was not immediately clear when N.H. had been captured and when she was found by the Army.

N.H. was reportedly at her home in Douris when the kidnappers, dressed as military personnel, entered her home and tied up her husband and domestic worker. They stole weapons and money before fleeing the house, taking her with them.

After her release, N.H. returned home. The NNA report did not indicate what had happened to the kidnappers.

This security incident was mapped according to the closest possible location.
