On 22 Apr 15, in Hermel, The Lebanese Army carried out a fresh round of raids in northeast Lebanon Wednesday, according to the state-run National News Agency.
Soldiers seized weapons, ammunition and 500 kg of illegal drugs during raids on the outskirts of the town of Hermel in the Bekaa Valley.
An unidentified number of suspects were also arrested.
A security plan for the northeastern Bekaa Valley was launched last February by a joint force of the Army, Internal Security Forces and General Security.
